MIXED MEDIA LAYERS
This is a class for anyone wanting to explore new ways of adding texture
and depth to your art by using layers upon layers of collage, inks,
paints, gels and image transfers . This day will be full of a variety
of techniques to unleash your creative energies. Let's work spontaneously,
not letting any fears we have about our art get in the way of creating
. I hope to share with you anything that I can to inspire you to be
the true artist that you are. This class is for all levels.

ALTERED EGO
Class: Altered Ego Create an altered self-portrait piece of art. A way
to explore your self image and alter it into a new you. A makeover in
just hours?! For this class we will be using your own printed pictures
of yourself. We will take these images and alter them into a piece of
art. We will be using a variety of techniques, such as: gel transfers,
paint transfers, ways to distress the images, adding depth and texture
using gel mediums. We will be using acrylics, inks, oil sticks, gel
pens, collage images, self portraits, stamps, & pencil.

ATC MOSAIC ART
ATC's are a lot fun to make, trade, and create...but let's do something new with them. Let's take a handful of them and create one piece of work from many (Artist Trading Cards). Let's have fun and get messy with ATC's, starting with 9 to 16 art cards, we will be painting, stamping, adding gel transfers, adding collage, more paint, inks, and drawings to the cards to create our own masterpiece. Once the cards are finished, we will then attach them to a piece of mat board or an old book cover that can be covered with fabric, to create a wonderful way to display an ATC Mosaic. This class will focus on basic painting, drawing, and mixed media techniques, for all levels.
