Birds Nests and Speckled Eggs
Using techniques to replicate terracotta, old china and other finishes
create a flock of whimsical birds. To make your bird feel right at home
you will create a nest using natural fibres and fill it with beautiful
speckled eggs, from pale blue to ivory. The techniques learnt can be
extended to create whatever special item you need to add to your altered
art projects.

Home Sweet Home
Come and create a special home or a whole village of miniature houses.
Using simple techniques and easy to find items you will learn how to
make imitation ivory, jasper and other effects. The techniques you learn
can be extended to create whatever special item you need to add to your
altered art projects.

Altered Book Workshop
The altered book workshop will teach you how to create unique one of
a kind pages in your altered book. You will learn how to decorate your
pages using paints and build up the layers will everyday things you
find in the home, including old phone book pages, paper napkins, paper
doilies, chocolate wrappers, Asian newspapers etc, the list goes on,
you’ll learn to see almost everything as usable. The class will also
cover transfers using gel medium, making your own stamps from meat trays
and painting tea bags to use in your work. You can then add your images,
writing, fabric, whatever takes your fancy to make it your own. Come
and give it a try and let your creativity flow - it's hassle free art
